Larse Claessens
Last year he already hosted some of our key irish spirits and in 2023 on Pole Position on our All Our Irish MC in the City of Peace & Spirits: Larse Claessens.
This passionate whiskey enthusiast married in Kilt and resides at the slopes of our Dutch Highlands (central Limburg) and is therefore a true Burgundian when it comes to food and spirits. And he is fond of Gizmo (pictured), bees and the great outdoors.
Larses’ love for our beloved spirit came naturally when Larse lived in Scotland for his studies; in the village of Tayport he was nicknamed 'The adopted Scotsman' after only a few months and there the love for the noble distillate became overwhelming.
Next to his knowledgable background on Scotch, Larse also developed an increasing passion for Irish and world whiskeys. ‘Whiskey’ has become a more than regular activity in his endeavours by consulting on whiskey as well as the tastings Larse provides nationwide and his commitment to represent the better spirits at various festivals in our Lowlands.
